What do you enjoy most about working for JDH?
The people really make JDH a special place to work: from my coworkers to our clients, down to our business partners, and everyone in between – our community is distinguished, exemplary, and I’ve never been prouder. Every day I look forward to seeing the smiling faces around our office, I’m afforded the opportunity to interact with professionals across the country, and then head home with a sense of accomplishment & being a part of something greater.
What is your definition of happiness?
I’m going to be very specific and say, “Bodega Bay,” which is absolutely my happy place. I’ve never been more at peace than the times I’ve spent on the Birdwalk Coastal Access Trail, camping amongst the dunes, or chowing down at the local markets. There’s something about the cool, foggy climate and lush green hills crashing into the coastline that gives me a sense of wonder, tranquility, and romanticism.
What do you think is the key to professional success?
Education: starting with a solid foundation is important, but continued education is vital when competing in an ever-changing world. Having access to the best educators, resources, and information will make all the difference in one’s career path. I liken the concept to travel; not keeping up on your education is like trying to navigate a map from a different century.
